Step1 - Have a pre punched cartomizer ready to install. Make sure the cartomizer is not deformed by the punching. The cartomizer must be round.
Step 2 - Remove the top cap. This should remove with very little effort! Never force the top cap off by prying with a knife or other device. The cap should release with slight pulling/twisting motion.
Step 3 - Prefill your cartomizer with liquid. Lubricate all o rings with VG, PG, or your liquid. Lubricate the outside metal case of your cartomizer. Leave the little white cap on the cartomizer, or use a carto tool or drip tip that is no wider than the cartomizer. Push the cartomizer up into the tank, from the bottom going up, careful not to damage the o ring. The drip tip or carto protects the o rings from being cut by the sharp edges of the cartomizer edge. The most important thing is to lube the outer part of the cartomizer before trying to install. Line up the bottom of the cartomizer with the bottom of the lower cap. It does not have to go all the way up into the top cap! Air flow area is needed.
Step 4 - Fill your tank with liquid, about 2ml, leaving enough space for the top cap, about 1/4".
Step 5 - Take the top cap and lube the o ring. This is critical! Slide the hole in the top cap over the cartomizer, just to the o ring, so you have a very loose seal. Now tilt the tank so the air bubble is over one of the holes in the cartomizer. Push the top cap all the way on now. With the juice as lubrication, this should click right in without too much effort.
Step 6 - Blow out any excess liquid that got into the cartomizer, or let the tank sit upright for a minute, so the excess liquid can drain out.
Step 7 - Connect the tank to the device of your choice and enjoy.
Always lube o rings!
O rings will swell a bit, so don't panic if you think the fit is too loose. It will tighten up as liquid absorbs into the o rings. This takes only a few minutes.
